A pensioner has appeared in court after attacking a man with a pickaxe handle who told him he shouldn't park on double yellow lines with his Blue Badge.

Motorists parking their cars in Cambridge no longer have to hunt for the right cash thanks to the introduction of cashless car parking. Working together Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council have teamed up to introduce the RingGo cashless mobile phone parking payment service from 1 July.Now, customers can pay for parking by credit or debit card over the phone, rather than with cash at a payment machine.
