Mid Sussex District Council has been awarded with the Disabled Parking Accreditation in fifteen of its car parks.
Councillors Bill Dick, Beverley Egan and council leader Colin Riley at Hart Road car park.
The car parks at Waterside Farm Leisure Centre and Oak Road on Canvey, Rectory Road, Hadleigh, Richmond Hall, Benfleet and Hart Road, Thundersley, have been awarded Disabled Parking Accreditation from charity Disabled Motoring UK.
The scheme, which recognises off-street parking facilities as accessible to disabled motorists, is now a lawful Certification Mark awarded to DMUK by the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), the official UK government body responsible for patents, designs and trademarks.
The accolade came after Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust was awarded the Disabled Parking Accreditation (DPA) from Disabled Motoring UK.
